Demitri Blizzeard is a young dancer from Sacramento California. He has been dancing as well as teaching since high school and is now in his third year of college.  Throughout his 5 years of dancing experience he has been a part of  many teaching programs, competitions, and showcase events in and outside of the U.S. Demitri is primarily a break dancer however, his dance experiences range from various ballroom and latin to hip hop choreography. Aside from teaching beginning/intermediate hip hop choreography, he also teaches breakdancing.

Demitri focuses on telling stories through dance instead of  just making movements and strives to make sure that no child goes home lost in choreography. Keeping his students engaged in the learning process while having fun is natural to him. 

His main goals include creating fun dances and being more than a teacher to his students. He also works hard to make sure that students learn how to choreograph themselves, as well as dancing freely on their own. This young enthusiastic dancer comes in with a big smile ready to take on kids of all ages.  He recently joined JDE in 2010 and enjoys every moment of working with the faculty and the kids.
