Jacque's Dance Expressions
Dress Code for all Classes

Ballet Dress Code:
If your child is enrolled in our ballet program, please be sure to remember to abide by our classroom dress code:
Girls 2 to 8 years of age may wear a black or pink leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers with elastic across the instep. Please avoid the satin slippers which look similar but do not have the elastic as these come off the child’s foot while dancing. During the last week of each month young students are allowed to wear colored leotards. Thin ballet skirts are acceptable as long as they do not create a distraction. Long/full tutu’s and/or recital costumes are not acceptable in the classroom.
Girls 9 years of age and up are required to wear black leotards, pink tights, and pink slippers. Short black shorts and/or leg warmers are acceptable, provided there is no writing on the clothing. All hair must be drawn back securely into a tight bun with a hair net or bun cover which will not fall out during the class. If your child has short hair, the bangs and sides of the hair must be pulled back and secured.
Boys may wear form fitting black shirts, black shorts or jazz pants and black ballet slippers.
Dancers with loose hair or inappropriate attire will be asked to leave the classroom.
*Jacque's Closet carries many differents styles in clothing, shoes, tights, and accessories.
